Project Updates (updated 01/04)
The following is an overview on the status of improvements: 
• 11 out of 31 locations are under active construction, 8 of which are expected to be complete in the next several weeks.  That includes Route 100 from Gray Summit to Route OO, Route 100 west of New Haven, Route 100 at Route M, Zumbehl Road at Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, Route 30 west of St. Clair to Route 47, Route HH, Route 50 at Route AT and Route 50 east of Gerald
• 682 florescent chevron signs have been installed at 61 curves 
• High Friction Surface Treatment (HFST) work has wrapped up for the season but 10 of 40 lane miles have been completed
• Guard cable installation on Route 94 in St. Charles County is underway
In addition, work has been completed on:
• 8 of 16 stop sign flashing beacons 
• 3 of 6 intersection conflict warning systems 
• 10 of 23 across the lane rumble strips 
• 14 of 38 miles of edge line rumble strips 
• 7 of 42 miles of center line rumble strips

Informational Public Meetings (updated July 2017)

Project Contract Awarded (updated May 2017)

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission selected NB West Contracting Company as the apparent best value to design and build the $24 million project. NB West is partnered with Horner & Shifrin, Inc., Lochmueller Group and Engineering Design Source Inc. Click here to see the full press release on the announcement

Project Details

During the last 10 years, 8,752 Missouri motorists left on a trip and never made it to their destination.  This project uses public and private industry solutions to reduce crashes and save lives.

Franklin County Improvements

Improvements are located at 16 different locations across the county.

St. Charles County Improvements

Improvements are located at 15 different locations across the county.
