Multiple Vehicle Crash Still Causing Problems on Interstate 44 Work continues to clear WB lanes at mile marker 184 in Rolla
Crews are still working to clear a multiple vehicle crash that closed westbound Interstate 44 at mile marker 184 in Rolla on Saturday and it's expected to take most of Sunday before both westbound lanes can be re-opened.
MoDOT has managed to get one lane of westbound traffic moving by utilizing interchange ramps in the vicinity of the crash but it's extremely slow-going. Motorists - especially truckers - are urged to avoid the area. Interstate 70 and U.S. Route 50 are cross-state alternatives, as is U.S Route 63 south to U.S. Route 60 and west to Springfield.
The crash site at mile marker 184 is just west of U.S. Route 63 at the Kingshighway interchange. (MORE)
