General
The Bridge Standard Drawings and Forms, published
by the State Bridge Office, shall be used by MoDOT's internal
staff, as well as consultants, contractors, and may be
used by other department of transportation agencies as
a reference. The standard drawings and forms are
to be used as an aid to assist in the plans production
of all statewide bridge related construction projects.
Disclaimer
The exclusive purpose of the electronic Bridge
office standard plans and forms is to provide information
as a convenience to those who access it. The electronic
drawing files and forms contained herein do not constitute
official Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission
or Missouri Department of Transportation contract documents,
as they bear neither the seal nor signature of the State
Bridge Engineer. MHTC and MoDOT do not intend for the
information contained herein to form a contract with any
person, nor shall any of this information be relied upon
by any person as forming a part of any contract.
Viewing Information
The standard drawings are presented in two
separate formats for viewing and use. A detailed image
of each drawing can be viewed and printed directly through
use of the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not already
have the Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, it
can be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe web site. Each standard plan is also available in the
(.dgn) format and can be downloaded for use on Microstation.
The standard forms are provided in Adobe Acrobat format
and Microsoft Word or Excel.
It is suggested you start with first reading the Readme
file below. This file outlines how to use reference files and where to send questions
and comments.
Readme
For
Lettings beginning January 2009, use Bridge Standard Drawings with new title block from below. Bridge Standard Drawings with old title blocks will not be updated after 8/1/08. Any updates to Bridge Standard Drawings with new title block dated later than 8/1/08 means that there has been a revision other than the new title block . If the Bridge Standard Drawings with old title blocks are to be used for any job to be let prior to January 2009, please check for revision and modify as necessary.
